Hi Melissa! Welcome back to planDisney. We’re so happy to see you again!
I’m so glad to hear you have a visit planned to
Walt Disney World! It will be here before you know it, so I bet you’re getting super excited. I know I would be! One of the things I look forward to most when planning a Walt Disney World vacation is the incredible food I’ll get to enjoy. I’ve been lucky enough to dine at Space 220 Restaurant multiple times, and I can tell you it really is an out-of-this-world experience (see what I did there?).
Now,
Space 220 Restaurant and
Space 220 Lounge have two separate menus, and their reservations are booked separately as well. So, unfortunately, you will not be able to dine in the lounge with your Space 220 Restaurant reservation. However, I would recommend heading over to Space 220 when you arrive at
EPCOT for the day and asking if they have availability in the lounge to make the change. While this is certainly not guaranteed, it never hurts to give it a shot!
Alternatively, I recommend keeping a close eye on your
My Disney Experience app to see if you can snag a reservation in the lounge. Then, you can cancel your reservation at Space 220 Restaurant. Guest's plans change all the time, especially at the last minute, so reservations pop up all the time. I’ve had a lot of success by checking in on the app about 2-3 times per day. Persistence is definitely key here!
Just thinking about all the incredible meals you'll get to enjoy on your upcoming vacation is making me feel a little rumbly in my tumbly, just like Winnie-the-Pooh! I'm just so excited for you to set off on your incredible adventure! I know you're in for such a treat wherever you end up dining! Until then, please
stop by again if you have any other questions.
See you real soon!
Diana
