we are visiting Jan 3-9/13, is it worth getting the waterparks at this time of year??

    Hi Michelle!

That is a really hard question as it is really guest dependent.  It can be cold in January, requiring sometimes gloves or mittens, but the water parks are heated.  However, even with a heated pool, at some point you have to get out of the water!  Still, the water parks will be pretty empty in January which basically means minimal lines for everything.  I've done it with my family.  My oldest son and I enjoyed not having lines; my wife and youngest son complained that it was just too cold to be in a water park!

My recommendation is to not get the Water Park Fun & More option in advance on your Magic Your Way ticket unless you want to enjoy some of the other features of that option, such as DisneyQuest or the ESPN Wide World of Sports.  If you just want to go to whichever water park is open (one will be closed for refurbishment), then wait until you are at Walt Disney World and see what the weather is like.  You can buy a single entry ticket to a water park for less than the Water Park Fun & More option if you only want to go once.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
