Visiting in Jan and trying to decide between Cafe Mickey and Cape May for breakfast buffet with my 5 year old girl. Help please! I will be booking first thing on Oct. 27th!

    Hi Jennifer!

I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either Cape May Buffet at the Beach Club Resort or Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary.  Both offer elaborate breakfast spreads and lots of kid-friendly choices.  Either makes a great venue for the beginning of a perfect Disney day!  For a sneak peak at the menus at either, you can visit the independent web site www.allears.net.

I would base your decision on which characters your daughter prefers to dine with or where you plan to spend the balance of your day.  While characters are subject to change, in general, Mickey, Goofy and Chip n' Dale make the rounds during breakfast at Chef Mickey's.  Minnie, Goofy and Donald, dressed in their finest beach attire, entertain guests at Cape May.

If you are going to head over to Magic Kingdom after breakfast, I would absolutely pick Chef Mickey's.  You'll be able to walk to the park in less than 10 minutes after you finish dining.  If you plan on heading over to Epcot or Hollywood Studios, however, I'd vote for Cape May Cafe.  Either park is a walk or short boat ride away from the Beach Club.

Whichever you pick, have a wonderful breakfast!
