We are visiting Jan 1-5 2026. Will Rock n Rollercoaster still be open?

    Hey, Keri! Welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for bringing us this rockin’ question. Let’s walk this way to get you an answer.

It was recently announced that Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith will be taking its final bow in 2025 and that a re-imagined version of the ride featuring the Muppets will open in 2026. No official closure dates have been shared at this time, so I can’t say for sure whether this ride will be open during your January 2026 visit. I’d suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates as your trip approaches, as well as the attraction’s webpage. Those are usually the first places to have closure announcements and information.

I know that Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith is a favorite for so many people, but I’m filled with sweet emotion over the concept art that’s been shared for its upcoming transportation. The Disney Parks Blog recently gave a sneak peek of its new psychedelic design, and I can’t wait to get back in the saddle (or super stretch limo in this instance) with the Electric Mayhem in 2026.

I hope this information helps, Keri, and that you're able to enjoy one last rockin’ ride through Los Angeles during your next Walt Disney World vacation. Come right back to planDisney if you have any other vacation questions. We're always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
