    I will be visiting HS with my three year old daughter. Is Fantasmic too scary for her?

    Hi Anne!

    Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question.
    Fantasmic! is a fabulous show with so many elements combined into an incredible experience.

    Whether or not it's too scary for your three year old daughter, will really depend on your daughter.
    The show does have it's "dark" moments involving the showing of villains from Disney classic films projected onto huge walls of water. There are some bursts of fire, a few large 'evil' creatures on stage down in front of you, and some loud music effects as well as fireworks. If elements such as these are known to cause upset for your daughter, you may want to consider saving the show for when she's a little bit older.

    On the other hand, there are PLENTY of happy moments in the show! The show begins with Mickey Mouse and ends with ALL of your favourite Disney Characters and Princesses parading past. It's simply fabulous!

    Neither of my children have even been too scared of the show to watch it, even when they were much younger toddlers. I don't want to give all the details about this sensory thrill away, but I can tell you that the show is well worth seeing and does have a happy ending. Have a little chat with your daughter in advance letting her know that some parts might be a bit loud, but that everything on stage is simply Disney Magic and that Mickey Mouse will save the day!
