Visiting HS on 3/6/20. My crew has no interest in the Star Wars Rides, so we will not be attempting boarding passes. Want to rope drop Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. What should our strategy be as far as arrival, entrance and where to wait?

Hello again, Christine! This is the third question I've answered for you about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation and it sounds like you're planning a great one. You've got plans for special events, fun days in the Theme Parks, and now you're getting the chance to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios on the week of the opening of a brand new attraction: Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway! I really love the Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts that are on the Disney Channel and Disney+ so I'm excited to see that animation style come to life and watch Mickey and Minnie save the day.

Since Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway hasn't opened yet, we're not quite sure exactly what the mornings will look like at Disney's Hollywood Studios, but your best strategy would be to arrive about 45 minutes to an hour early. New attractions are always very popular, and there will also be the guests who are there in the morning attempting to join a boarding group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, so the early hours of the day will probably be a pretty popular time to be there. I can tell you that Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway is right at the end of Hollywood Boulevard in the Chinese Theater so you will want to stay in the middle of the group if you can, as people will be breaking off to the right to go to Toy Story Land and to the left to go to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Again, we don't quite know exactly what the early morning procedures will be like at Disney's Hollywood Studios in the next few weeks, so be sure to follow Cast Members' instructions as they are likely to have signs there to point you in the right direction.

    Have a magical day, Christine!
