Hi! Visiting for our honeymoon in September! We did not purchase a Disney Dining Plan (unsure if we will) so what is the soonest we can make reservations at the restaurants? Also, do the cast members do anything special to make your honeymoon memorable? TY

    Hi Shawnee,

Firstly, congratulations on celebrating your honeymoon in Walt Disney World! Purchasing a Disney Dining Plan is not necessary to make Advanced Dining Reservations. In fact, any guest visiting Walt Disney World Resort is able to book dining as early as 180 days in advance. The most popular restaurants do book up this early, so I'd be sure to call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE, 407-939-3463 at your 180 day mark. Googling, "180 day Disney calendar" will provide independent sites to help you determine this date. You'll also want to note your celebration on the reservation, as you never know what pixie dust may grace your table! The friendly Cast Members will typically ask you what you're celebrating when booking the reservation.

I wish you a magically romantic honeymoon, Shawnee. Any other questions? We're delighted to help.
