We will be visiting Hollywood Studios on October 13th 2008. I am trying to decide whether or not to book the fantasmic dining experience, so I was looking at the scheduled show times. They show 7:00 and 8:30 but the park closes at 8:00. Which is right?

    Hi Trish,

The calendar and times can be very confusing to understand if you are not familiar with the Extra Magic Hours.  On October 13, 2008, Disney's Hollywood Studios (where Fantasmic takes place) is open to regular park guests until 8:00pm but it is open up to 3 hours after that (so probably until 11:00pm) for guests who are staying in a Walt Disney World Resort.  Being able to take advantage of these added hours is one of the many benefits you will have when staying in a WDW Resort.  You don't mention where you will be staying during your vacation, but if it is in a WDW Resort then you can stay and view Fantasmic for the 8:30pm show, otherwise you will only be able to see the 7:00pm scheduled Fantasmic show.  I hope this is helpful in planning your evening Fantasmic Dining Experience and that you will have a magical time!

    Best wishes,
