Hi Rebecca and welcome to planDisney!
October is such a great time to visit Walt Disney World! You'll be right in the swing of things with the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. I do hope you have an EPCOT park day planned so you can take advantage of tasting your way around the "world".
Disney's Hollywood Studios is my son's favorite Walt Disney World theme park. The general rule with queues for the attractions is that the lines close when the park closes, so as long as you are in line for an attraction prior to the park closing, you can stay in line to ride. You will not be able to experience any attractions if you are not in line after 9:00 PM. I do see that Hollywood Studios has
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on October 19th, which means Guests staying at a
Deluxe Disney Resort hotel can stay in the park until 11:00 PM. If you are calling one of the Deluxe Resorts home during your October vacation, you will need to show your MagicBand or Resort reservation to access the attractions after 9:00 PM.
You won't be disappointed if you do decide to attend
Fantasmic! that evening. It's such a great show and even better since it has returned. My favorite part are the projections on the water curtains and, of course, seeing Mickey Mouse on stage.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
