    I am visiting Hollywood Studios on June 9th. I am not staying on property. How is the best way to book the Savi Workshop Lightsaber building?

    I am excited that you plan to build a Savi's Workshop Handbuilt Lightsaber at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! I had the opportunity to construct a Lightsaber at Savi's Workshop with my son and his wife on my Disney vacation in November 2021, and I can tell you firsthand that it was amazing! It was a Star Wars religious experience!

    You can check the availability by going to the Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers at the Walt Disney World Resort webpage and pressing the Check Availability Button. Then you select the date you are interested in building a Lightsaber to see if there are any openings for that particular day. If there are openings, you will be able to select from 20-minute time slots. If you do not see any openings on the selected day, you can look for a date range to see availability. You also can stop by Savi's Workshop on June 9th to see if there might be any walk-up reservations for that day (walk-up reservations are not guaranteed to be available every day, but it is worth a try). My recommendation is to go right to Savi's Workshop as soon as Disney's Hollywood Studios opens in the morning to increase your chance of securing a walk-up reservation if they are available on that day.
