I am visiting Hollywood Studios and Epcot soon. I do not drink alcohol but do enjoy a N/A beer. I think this may be hard to find in the park. Am I allowed to bring a few cans of my own with icepack in my bag?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Ruby!

I see that you have a fun summer visit to Walt Disney World planned--outstanding!

My first thought for warmer days of park touring is always hydration, so your question about bringing in a beverage of your own is a great one. Ruby, guests often bring their own non-alcoholic beverages into the parks, so your non-alcoholic beer will be just fine. Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules include a list of prohibited items, so you'll see your beverage of choice is among those that are permitted. Note, however, that no glass containers ("except small containers such as baby food jars") are allowed in the parks, but cans are acceptable. To keep those beverages cold, that list also states that bags and coolers must be no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Also, "Loose or dry ice is not permitted in these containers. Re-usable ice packs are recommended."

While park hopping on a hot summer day, you'll be so glad that you brought your favorite ice-cold beverage along with you. Pair that with a Jumbo Pretzel and House-made Obatzda Cheese Dip from EPCOT's Sommerfest or the California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate at Disney's Hollywood Studios' BaseLine Tap House and you've built in that perfect midday break--deliciously!

Ruby, as you continue to plan the perfect stay at The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
