Hi there, Vikki! Welcome to planDisney.
I love hearing you have some ticket cards in your possession and are trying to figure out how to maximize your value. I have a few extra tickets on hand right now, and they are burning a hole in my wallet for sure – I want to swim around in them like Scrooge McDuck!
Have you attempted to link your ticket media to your
My Disney Experience account? You’ll need to log in, select “Tickets and Passes” and then add using the ticket number that should appear on the back. If you’re able to successfully add those tickets, you’ll be all set to make your
Disney Park Pass Reservations.
Having said that, I realize that some promotional ticket media can’t be linked by Guests in My Disney Experience, and must instead be added by visiting Guest Relations in the theme park. My advice is to speak to a Cast Member by calling the Existing Tickets line at (407) 566-4985. Have your cards handy so you can describe what you have, and the Cast Member should be able to tell you how each card can be used, and whether it can be linked. They will get you all set so you know your next steps for planning your magical days!
As you plan for your August visit, be sure to check out the
Know Before You Go web page, which shares important information about the Walt Disney World Resort’s phased reopening, including health and safety measures and important planning information about which attractions and experiences are open. I’m so excited that Guests will be able to dive back into the magic when
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park reopens in March (that date is subject to changed based on the latest health recommendations), and it’s great to hear you’re planning a visit. We're still waiting for new on the water parks' reopening plan, so stay tuned for news on how to plan a visit. When your visit day arrives and you’re ready for a break from splashing, don’t miss the
mini donuts offered at Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company – they come with drool-worthy dipping sauces and are so, so good.
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you won’t want to miss a visit to Batuu, the planet Guests are transported to upon entering Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I’m not sure when your last visit was, but I recommend reading up on the
steps for securing a Boarding Pass for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which is an absolutely incredible, state-of-the-art attraction, in which you choose whether to fight for the Resistance or join the First Order on an epic adventure.
I’m so excited for your August visit, Vikki! As you plan and dream, please stop by again if we can answer any further questions. You’ll also want to read the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest updates, news, and planning information – I love to read daily and keep a list of must-eats, must-dos, and must-finds for my upcoming visit!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
