Hi, there!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Donna. We're so glad you stopped by!
Visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort with a little one in tow always makes for lots of special memories. Your heart is going to just melt as you watch your toddler experience the magic of the theme parks! Traveling with small children can sometimes be stressful, but the Walt Disney World Resort makes it super easy with lots of family-friendly services like
Rider Switch and the
Baby Care Centers.
For nearly all dining reservations, you'll only be required to pay for the Guests who are ordering food and beverages. (Some exceptions to this rule include select
Signature Dining Experiences.) Your toddler is most welcome to share from an adult's plate at no charge
or order something from the menu! And at all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurants like Chef Mickey's and The Crystal Palace, your 2-year old can eat for free. How great is that?
When making
dining reservations, be sure to include everyone in your travel group in the total party size, including your 2-year old. Even if you don't think your little one will be eating at the restaurant, it's important the Cast Members there have an accurate head count. Before the booking process is complete, you'll be given information about cancellation policies. This information will also be included in your confirmation email. Usually, Guests may cancel a dining reservation up to 24-hours ahead of time without penalty.
I hope this was helpful, Donna. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
