Visiting with grandchildren age 7 and under. Are we allowed to bring in snacks in a knapsack?

    Oh boy, Michele!

A vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth with the grandchildren sounds supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Yes, you are certainly allowed to take outside food and beverages with you during your visit to the Disneyland Resort. Frankly, I don’t think I could imagine visiting the theme parks without having plenty of snacks and water on hand to help keep your little Mouseketeers comfortable and happy. We usually take granola bars, fruit snacks, fresh fruit, and water bottles with us when visiting the parks.

There is so much magic awaiting you and your young ones at the Disneyland Resort. To help you hold on to your vacation memories, I recommend purchasing Disney MaxPass to add on to your tickets. MaxPass give you convenient access to Disney FASTPASS selections for favorite attractions such as "it's a small world," Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, Radiator Springs Racers. MaxPass also comes with complimentary downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos, including attraction photos.

Tony’s Tip: Baby Care Centers are conveniently located in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Sure, they are great places for nursing, feeding, and changing diapers. But they aren’t just for infants. Small children may make use of the tiny toilets. Vending machines have a variety of essentials in case you forget sunscreen, wipes; and more. And caring Cast Members stand ready to assist with various needs,  including helping families and children reunite with each other in case of an inadvertent separation.

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Michele! Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you may have about your Disneyland Resort vacation.
