Hi Marcia, welcome back to planDisney!
I love
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! I have very fond memories of taking pictures at the piano before my wedding at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion. The lobby is one of my favorite places to sit down and take in the atmosphere and it sounds like you have similar plans!
There is not an orchestra performance at the Grand Floridian and there have not been any announcements regarding its return. However, there are many opportunities to enjoy the performance of the Grand Floridian pianist. The pianist is scheduled to perform daily at 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 6:15 p.m., and 7:15 p.m.. I love that you can hear the piano playing as soon as you step into the Lobby and even as you walk in and out of the shops on each level.
Have you had a chance to visit the
Enchanted Rose lounge yet? Before or after you see the pianist perform, I recommend stopping in for a quick bite and drink. Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite movies, so I love the themed décor.
And I always recommend stopping by the shore of Seven Seas Lagoon to watch the
Electrical Water Pageant each night. You may even be able to catch a bit of
Disney Enchantment occurring at Magic Kingdom Park if you have your timing just right!
Speaking of Disney Enchantment, you are visiting just in time to see the nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park before it leaves on April 2, 2023! And you can still experience the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, which ends on March 31, 2023. Be sure to catch the
Beacons of Magic at all four theme parks, and the limited time food and merchandise options all over Walt Disney World Resort.
I hope you have a magical time at your visit to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Marcia. Please
visit me again at planDisney in the future!
