Hi, we are visiting Grand Floridian on 3rd April 2024. We plan to walk to the Poly to watch the magic kingdom fireworks from the beach one night- has this scenic walkway reopened around the seven sea lagoon or do we still have to use a construction path?

    Welcome to planDisney, Hannah!

I'm delighted to let you know that the walking path between Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is open! I highly recommend taking a stroll over to the beach, soaking in the Seven Seas Lagoon atmosphere as you go, before arriving at a whole vibe at the beach in the Poly! Perhaps you might like to arrive a few minutes early and pick up a yummy DOLE Whip float from Pineapple Lanai to sip and see the fireworks. You could even continue the fun post-fireworks at the raucous (in the best way) Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. Rosita's Margarita here gets the chef's kiss.

Getting home using Monorail is a cinch if you don't fancy the walk. Disney's Grand Floridian is the next stop from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, so you can switch back from the tropical vibes to Victorian grandeur in a minute.

Have the best time watching Happily Ever After, Hannah. The music (which you should hear at the beach) and the whole atmosphere gets me every time. Please do pop back to planDisney if we can help with anything else.
