We will be visiting GF from 12/22/12 for 1 wk, We will be making advanced res at different restaurant in WDW, but will we have to book all meals in the GF, or will guests of the GF resort have the ability to walk in and get tables. Family of 4. Many thx

    Hello Cathy!

You are going to love Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa during the holidays!  The whole resort is decked out in its holiday finest and topped off with a life-sized gingerbread house!

If there is a particular restaurant at the GF at which you'd like to dine, you should make your Advanced Dining Reservations at the 180-day mark.  Walk-ups are never guaranteed and if they are available, they are first-come, first-served, regardless of where a guest is staying.  During the holiday season, you will find most dining locations will not have much, if any, walk-up seating available.

Please come back and see me again if you have any other questions.  I'd love to make sure your vacation is practically perfect in every way.

    Have a magical day!
