Visiting in 11/17, we have friends not staying on property that will arrive a few day after we do. When I make my ADRs 180 days out, can I include them in our reservation or no since they are not within their 180 days? It would be under our reservation.

    Hi, Amy!

I love when we have friends join us at Walt Disney World. It makes the visit even more special!

You should definitely include your friends in your total count for your dining reservation. By having just one reservation, you can make sure you are all seated at one table. Although you will be on the same reservation, you can still split the check or you can use your Disney Dining Plan credits (if on the plan) or whatever method you choose.

And here is a little tip - When you make the reservation, it will ask for the name of each guest in your travel party. This really is not necessary, this step can be skipped, but is helpful if you are linked by Family and Friends and your friends want to see the reservation in their My Disney Experience account. The first name listed will be in charge of the reservation, and this person is responsible for the credit card hold and for cancelling if needed (usally 24 hours prior to avoid a $10 per guest no-show fee).

Wishing you and your pals a magical time in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
