We are visiting Fort Wilderness for the first time this May. We will be tent camping and I am wondering what essentials we need to bring, ex. extension cords, hose for drinking water, etc. Thanks!

    Hi Paul.

Yeehaw, sleeping under the stars in the great outdoors surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.  I hear tell that there is a giant mouse in those woods that wears red shorts, white gloves and is always smiling.

The essentials you need to bring are a sense of adventure and a love for relaxation.  Depending on what type of electronics you're bringing an extension cord would be a good idea, a jug for water and some bug spray!

Maybe the best way to answer your question is to show you everything the sites offer and you can decide how 'one with nature' or how 'comfortable' you want to make your experience.  The amenities page for the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is great and can really help you plan your vacation.

    Have a magical time!
