We will be visiting Fort Wilderness Campground for our son's birthday the very first week of November. I know that the pool is heated, but does anyone know if it is generally warm enough to swim in the Disney heated pools at this time? Thanks

    Hi Jennifer,

Cool that you are planning to celebrate your son's birthday at Disney World! Its the perfect place!

The average high temperature in Orlando for the month of November is 78.5 and the average low is 57.5.  Unless there is some unusual weather pattern, it should warm up outside enough for a swim in the afternoons especially in the heated pools.  Keep in mind that these are averages so it can vary.  I also think it depends on a person too and what type of climate you are used to for that time of the year.

Right before your trip, check out the 10-day forecast at www.weather.com . You can search the forecast for Disney World to see if there are any crazy weather patterns predicted during your visit.

Wishing your son many magical birthday memories :-) Allison
