We are visiting Florida for a short period at the end of the month. If availability is still offered will be able to spend an entire day in the park? Also, is a FastPass available or included with 1 day entry?

Hello there, Lauren! Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop back by and asking another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

As you may already know, there have been a few changes that have taken place during the reopening of Walt Disney World Resort! During your upcoming visit, you can look forward to enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. These changes have been made to increase the safety of all visiting Guests, and, speaking from personal experience, they really do make your visit much less stressful!

One of the additional changes is the need to have a theme park reservation prior to entering any of the four theme parks. These reservations may be made through the Disney Park Pass system as soon as you have connected your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account. If you would like to check availability prior to purchasing tickets, you may do so through the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar online. Your theme park reservations will guarantee you entry into your selected theme park which means will be able to spend the entire day there if you would like!

During the initial reopening stages at Walt Disney World Resort, the FastPass+ service has been temporarily suspended. This means that it will not be offered with the purchase of any theme park tickets or annual passes for the time being. That being said, the theme parks are operating at reduced capacity so, in my experience, the wait times for many attractions are not as high as they may normally be! Of course, if there are “must-do” attractions for you and your family, it is still recommended that you arrive at the theme park at opening time and experience those attractions as soon as possible!

I hope you have a practically perfect visit to Walt Disney World Resort later this month! Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you!
