Hi, we will be visiting Florida this May and whereas we have been to the main parks we have never been to the water parks. They are now 4 and 2 and the older can now finally swim! Which of the two disney water parks, if are better suited for young kids?

Hi Raj! May is a great time to visit a water park at Walt Disney World. The weather is warm and the chance to enjoy some great water thrills beckons to many guests.

I personally prefer Blizzard Beach for a park for the younger children. They have an area called Tikes Peak that is totally dedicated to the younger crowds. In fact they have cast members using measuring sticks on some slides making sure older kids aren't trying to get in on the fun and take away the experience from the little ones. There are various slides and water fountains and play areas and enough to keep the children happy for most of the day. They might also enjoy the Lazy River ride around the park. They do have inner tubes with the bottoms making it easier for the kids to not worry about falling through the hole! I still strongly suggest you keep a good hold on them so they don't drift away but this is a fun and relaxed way to spend time together!
