Welcome to planDisney, Megan!
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. It's nice to see a fellow Brit planning a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
When booking a stay at Walt Disney World Resort, your options can vary depending on the country you're booking from. For UK-based Guests, bookings through the
Walt Disney Travel Company require a minimum stay of four nights. This aligns with the travel habits of many UK visitors, who often plan longer holidays of 1-2 weeks. As a result, the available holiday packages don’t accommodate shorter stays of 1 or 2 nights.
Additionally, single-day park tickets cannot be purchased through the UK website. Instead, you can choose between a
7-Day Magic Ticket or a 14-Day Magic Ticket, both of which offer incredible value. These tickets include unlimited access to all four theme parks and two water parks, plus the
Park Hopper Option,
Memory Maker, and other exciting perks. The 7-Day Magic Ticket works out at just £75 per day and the 14-Day Magic Ticket works out at just £31 per day (prices are subject to change without notice). It's the kind of deal that makes you ka-chow!
Since US-based Guests can book shorter stays, you're welcome to book through the US website (
Disneyworld.Disney.go.com) once you cross the pond. However, there might not be any availability in the Disney Resort hotels by that point.
I know that's not the answer you were hoping for, Megan. However, I hope that's clarifying and gives you enough information to take the next steps in planning your trip. If you have any further questions, please stop by planDisney and ask.
Cheers,
Mike
