Hi, we are visiting Florida this December for Christmas celebrations can you explain what you get for paying extra for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, are there fireworks from 22-26th and whether there is an actual Christmas Day Parade and fireworks?

Hi A! If you will be visiting Walt Disney World from December 22-26 then you will have the opportunity to see the Holiday Wishes at the Magic Kingdom. This generally starts just after the last Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party. We are assuming this is not going to change this year as we have not been given indication it will.

The actual Christmas party is an added bonus to the guests as it includes the park being open with almost all of the attractions running as well as cookie and cocoa stations around the park and numerous dance parties going on. The crowds are far less then a normal evening in the park so the lines are relatively short allowing you to enjoy so many more things in a short amount of time. It is fun to be in the festive atmosphere with the snow falling on Main Street and the carolers often singing outside of the shops.

Due to the added guests that arrive for the holidays they stop the special party and continue on with the parade and fireworks to keep in the holiday spirit.
