Hi Dawn,
Not to worry! The blockout dates apply to some Florida residents annual passes, which are not valid during certain peak periods. Admission for other guests remains open year-round.
I do recommend that you get your tickets in advance so that you can take advantage of some of the great Walt Disney World vacation planning tools. For example, you can make
FastPass+ reservations for your top rides and attractions. When tickets are linked to a
My Disney Experience account, you can make FastPass+ choices 60 days in advance if you are staying at a
Walt Disney World resort, 30 days in advance if you are not. FastPass+ allows you to use a special line at your chosen attractions with a minimal wait. It's a great way to maximize your time in the parks, especially during busier times of year.
As you think about your plans for your April vacation, please know that you can make advanced dining reservations now if you like, regardless of whether you already have your park tickets.
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dawn. Please check back with us as often as you need as you put together your itinerary for your Walt Disney World vacation. Enjoy!
Wilma
