We are visiting the first week of November and are wondering if Its a Small World will be (re)open or is it scheduled to be closed for Christmas refurbishment?

Season’s greetings, Karen, and welcome to planDisney!

I’m so excited for your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth… let the countdown begin! I checked on Disneyland.com, and it looks like “it’s a small world” will be closed for refurbishment from October 24 to November 10, 2022, and will reopen on November 11, 2022 as “it’s a small world” Holiday. November 11 is also the official first day of the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. So, unfortunately, according to this schedule, it looks like “it’s a small world” probably won’t reopen in time for your visit on November 2. I know this isn’t the news you were hoping to hear, and I’m so sorry for that! There is a chance that you’ll find some holiday décor being sprinkled around the Disneyland Resort by this time, so I hope you can still get a taste of some holiday spirit during your visit. Or, if you’re able to adjust your visit by a week or so, you’ll be treated to some merry magic!

Some of my favorite holiday experiences at the Disneyland Resort include the “it’s a small world” Holiday Lighting, A Christmas Fantasy Parade, and the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction overlay. From the seasonal treats to the beautiful décor, the Disneyland Resort truly comes alive this time of year! Be sure to download the Disneyland app so you don’t miss a thing!

Wishing you a happy holiday season,
    Kristin

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
