We will be visiting first week of march 2021 and just received notice that the Hippy Dippy pool will be closed. Is there another splash pad for toddlers at Pop resort? Or will the kiddie pool behind Hippy Dippy still be open? Thank you :)

Greetings and salutations, Alison! Thanks for splashing on over to planDisney with your question. Looks like we're getting all the groovy vibes from one of my family's go-to Walt Disney World Resort hotels today. Let's dive right in!

Disney's Pop Century Resort is the coolest of the cool and the raddest of the rad (I'm an 80s girl, so I think I can say that!). We love staying there, especially now that the Disney Skyliner makes getting to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios easier than finding a Cabbage Patch Kid at Christmas. Just hop aboard your gondola and glide to all the fun!

Speaking of fun, what's more fun than splish-splashing around in the pool? And I have great news for you on that front, Alison! I just spoke with a Cast Member who let me know that while the Hippy Dippy Pool is set for refurbishment from now through early March, the kids' wading pool next to it is expected to remain open. How totally awesome is that? And of course, if the rest of the family wants to get wet, the Bowling and Computer pools will be open for all Guests. So grab the sunscreen and a towel and get that pool time in!

I hope this helps your Walt Disney World vacation go swimmingly, Alison. And if you have any more questions, stroll on back to our planDisney dance party any old time!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
