    Hi we are visiting for the first time in October I have booked a character breakfast at chef mickeys at 8am ,we are staying at animal kingdom what is the best way to get there and what time does the transport between the hotels/parks start Many thanks

    Hi Louise:

    The general buses start running to the Parks about an hour prior to Park opening.  And special buses to the Parks start running even earlier, as early as 6:30, for Guests who have early morning character breakfast reservations at restaurants inside the Parks and close by Resorts. These buses are unofficially referred to as "breakfast buses." I would confirm with a Cast Member at your Resort that early morning buses to the Parks will be running for you to catch your character breakfast.  The bus will likely drop you off at Magic Kingdom, where you can take a 10 minute walk from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary.  I would let the bus driver know that you have a reservation at the Contemporary, and he or she may be able to drop you off directly at the Resort, though I would expect to be dropped off at Magic Kingdom. 

    Of course, if you want to guarantee that you will be at the restaurant on time or are like me and want the extra minutes of sleep, you can take a taxi.  Taxis are generally waiting outside Resorts, or your Resort concierge can help you arrange one.
