Hi Stacey,
You can now say, you are going to Walt Disney World
this year! Hooray! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stacey. I am thrilled to be able to help you plan your magical vacation!
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are both incredible, so I fully understand your dilemma. I went straight to the source on this one and asked my 10-year-old which pool he would choose and without hesitation he said the
Fuentes Del Morro Pool at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Although they are both fun, and the towering Mayan Pyramid at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is stunning, the slide through the Spanish Fortress at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is hard to beat. Our family really adores everything about the resort and as you said, it has also been recently refurbished and updated. We love the theme, the resort activities and the delicious choices at the food court. My oldest also still likes to go on the
Islands of the Caribbean Pirate Cruise taking off from the resort daily. It is a fun and affordable way for him to get a little "kid time" and explore his sense of adventure. The resort is rather large, so I do recommend requesting a room closer to the action if you plan on spending lots of time at the pool.
I hope I have been able to assist you in making your decision. We have stayed at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort several times, so if there is anything else I may assist you with in planning your stay,
please let me know.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
