Hello, We are visiting for the first time in March. We are booked to stay a Animal Kingdom but so worried about the price:( Is there a "moderate" resort that is not so crowded to have a day or two of relaxation with my husband and three yr old so

Hi there Amy! You can relax because all the amazing cast members, no matter the Disney resort category, want your family to have a magical vacation!

I've been fortunate to stay at both the Deluxe and Moderate Resorts. The difference, other than price point and theme, is really just the added resort amenities and theme park transportation options. So, if you are concerned about the bottom line, a moderate resort is a more than acceptable alternative.

My personal favorite moderate is Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter. My family loves the compact resort lay out, the boat ride to Downtown Disney, the sea serpent water slide and the option to take a stroll to Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside for dinner at Boatwright's Dining Hall or a dip in the Ol' Man Island pool complex.

One way to experience both deluxe and moderate resort accommodations would be to have a split-stay reservation between the two categories or schedule a nice meal at one of the deluxe resorts and stroll the grounds afterward to soak up the ambiance.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your Disney vacation be practically perfect in every way!
