Hello, We are visiting for the first time in April and we are wondering if we are able to leave the park and return to the same park at a later time that day?

    Howdy, Chantel!

I'm always so excited to go the Disneyland Resort. I usually want to just keep going from early morning to late at night. But sometimes our younger children, and yes, even I need a little break in the early afternoon to recharge for the rest of the day. So we usually choose to leave the fun for little while to take a nap in the quiet of our hotel room before returning again to enjoy dinner in the parks and visiting attractions and watching entertainment in the evening.

When you first use your ticket to enter either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, a Cast Member will take a photograph of you that is digitally linked to your park ticket. Because park tickets are non-transferable, when you exit and re-enter a park or hop over to the other park with Park Hopper Tickets, make sure that each guest has the same ticket used for the initial entry so those photos match the guest using the ticket. You can also link your tickets in the Disneyland app and use one mobile device as an electronic ticket for everyone.

Since this is your first time visiting the Disneyland Resort, I recommend you ask a Cast Member where you might go to pick up a complimentary "First Visit" button. They are always available at City Hall in Disneyland Park or at Chamber of Commerce at Disney California Adventure Park. They can often be found at other locations as well. These cute buttons are a fun way to remember your first time at the Happiest Place on Earth.

    Have a magical time, Chantel!
