It’s a small world after all, Katrina, and I’m so glad you found your way to planDisney!
Your getaway to the
Most Magical Place on Earth is almost here, and I couldn’t be more excited for you! It sounds like you’re staying at a great location within walking distance to
Disney Springs. I always love visiting Disney Springs, especially during the holidays! I can’t wait for you to see all the beautifully-decorated trees on the Christmas Tree Stroll throughout Disney Springs!
Due to the
phased reopening of Disney Springs, rules do change from time-to-time, so I’m glad you’re thinking ahead! I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that you will be able
to walk to Disney Springs during your stay. In fact, Guests staying at select Resort-area hotels can use
the pedestrian footbridges that connect Hotel Plaza Boulevard with the Marketplace at Disney Springs for easy access. Just keep in mind that all entry points are dependent on capacity restrictions, and if Disney Springs is at capacity upon your arrival, you may be asked to wait until there’s availability to enter. If that happens, and you have a dining reservation that may be impacted, you may call (407) WDW-DINE and speak with a Cast Member to see how they can assist you. The Cast Member I chatted with recommends heading to Disney Springs earlier in the day, or arriving at least 60 minutes before any scheduled event, show, or reservation to ensure you don’t have any issues with capacity.
To help get you in the holiday spirit, I recommend stopping by
World of Disney and checking out the festive and fun holiday merchandise! From spirit jerseys to mini backpacks to face masks, there’s something for everyone on your list!
Wishing you a magical vacation and a joyful holiday season, Katrina!
