Hey there, hi there, Christina!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney, where you're always as welcome as can be. I'd be happy to assist you today!
Good news for your family members! They can go ahead and link their
Florida Resident theme park tickets to their My Disney Experience accounts and activate them upon arrival in Walt Disney World. They should use the alphanumeric ticket confirmation code to add their tickets to the My Disney Experience website or
mobile app. On the web version, use the My Disney Experience dropdown menu and select "My Plans," then "+ Add More Plans," and "Link Reservations and Purchases." Follow the prompts, input the ticket information, and you'll be on your way!
On the My Disney Experience mobile app, link tickets by clicking the three parallel lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen, then Tickets and Passes, and finally, the + sign in the top corner. Some of the special Florida Resident tickets require
theme park reservations, so if your friends' tickets aren't date-specific, they'll need to make reservations after linking.
Once you and your family arrive at Walt Disney World, residents of the Sunshine State should verify their residency and activate their tickets at a theme park ticket window, Guest Relations, or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. My family likes to stop by
Disney Springs on our arrival day and combine a visit to the ticket center with a treat from
Gideon's Bakehouse.
Best wishes for a fun getaway with your family, Christina! You arrive just a few days before the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival starts. If you're still in the area when it begins, be sure to drop by the outdoor kitchens and topiaries to see what's blooming. I love the fresh flavors and inventive seasonal dishes featured at this event. Thanks for sending your question to planDisney, and we'll see ya real soon!
Have a magical day,
Betsy
