Dear Jennifer,
Thank you for bringing us your question about your upcoming vacation at
Walt Disney World!
You can absolutely bring a
MagicBand from a previous stay (you can check which ones are active on your
My Disney Experience account) and ask for your February tickets to be linked to that MagicBand. I did that last November when I stayed at a resort on property but that didn't include a MagicBand so I brought one I had used in July and had my
tickets linked to it without a problem. You would have to stop by Guest Relations at the first
Park you visit and have those tickets linked up to your existing MagicBand.
However, I do believe you need to verify that the batteries on the MagicBand are still good because I did experience a situation in which an attraction photo did not transfer over to my MagicBand and the person who helped me at the
Disney PhotoPass Service location said that it might have been because of the low battery on the MagicBand. They are normally good for a couple of years, I was told, but it is better to have it checked prior to your trip.
If you have any further questions about this, please feel free to reach out to the MagicBands team by calling (407) 939-4357.
Jennifer, I wish you a fabulous trip filled with tons of pixie-dust! Please, come back with more questions whenever you need to!
See ya real soon,
Desiree
