Visiting in February of 2025 are there any rides that are or will be unavailable during this time?

Hi there Mark!  Thanks for bringing another great question to planDisney!

February is such a lovely time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.  The weather is cooler, and we've always loved taking a trip in the winter months, it gave us something to look forward to after the holidays!

The best place to check for attractions and entertainment that will be under refurbishment during your trip is the Hours & Events Calendar.  It's usually updated up to 60 days in advance, and it's a great resource to help plan your days at the theme parks!

Even if one of your favorite attractions is closed for refurbishment or temporarily closes during your trip, do not worry!  This happened to my family during one of our latest trips, and it was to easy to pivot to enjoy other attractions and activities in the parks.  I know it can be disappointing, but it gives you an opportunity to explore other options that you may not have considered during previous visits!

I recommend starting to make your priority list of your top attractions, entertainment, dining, and nighttime spectaculars that you'll want to experience during your trip.  Once the Hours & Events Calendar is released for your trip dates, you can begin to plan all of those details.

I hope this information is helpful for your planning, Mark!  Please come back to planDisney if we can help with anything else!

    Have a magical day,
    Melissa
