    We're visiting in February and our agent offered us free Magic Band skins. However, I am confused as to whether we will be receiving the original Magic Bands or Magic Band 2 from Disney. Is there any way to know before our bands are shipped?

    Hi Carla! Many of us are excited about the new Magic Bands that have developed and we can't wait to get them for our future trips.

    It appears that Disney has begun to ship the new style out for guests having reservations end of January and later. A panelist just shared that her family got the new ones this past week so we are anticipating all guests will be getting these now. Of course this has not been announced officially. We don't know if they are sending them randomly. But let's all hope that soon we will be welcoming new bands for our Disney vacation trips!
