Visiting Feb. 7-11. Staying at movies resort. Will be celebrating 2 birthdays. We have Chef Mickeys planned for birthday dinner. Any other suggestions or must do's? Celebrating my birthday turning 33 and daughters the day after turning 4. Thanks much.

    Hi Tennile!
Disney is a great place to celebrate a birthday! Dinner at Chef Mickey's is a great choice! Since you'll be meeting Mickey and all his pals there why not consider a princess breakfast or lunch for your little princess! There are two locations to choose from. Cinderella's Royal Table, located right in Cinderella castle at the Magic Kingdom. Cinderella greets all her guests in the loby of the castle and poses for pictures and autographs. Once inside the restaurant the princess' waiting to meet you include Snow White, Jasmine, Belle and Princess Aurora. The second princess dining experience is located at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at the Norway Pavillion. For breakfast the princess' who make appearances include Snow White, Mulan, Mary Poppins, Jasmin, Belle and Sleeping Beauty. For lunch the princess' waiting to celebrate with you are Ariel, Princess Aurora, Belle, Pocahontis, Jasmin and Alice in Wonderland.
To make your daughter's birthday a little extra special bring a birthday card for all the characters to sign. It makes a great souvenir.
You may also want to order a cake for the occasion. Disney offers 2 different types of birthday cakes. A 6 inch celebration cake is $21.00 that you can pre-order when you book your reservation or a more personalized cake that can be arranged by calling the cake hotline at (407) 827-2253. 48 hours notice is required for ordering a personalized cake. Prices for personalized cakes vary.
When you are at the parks pick up a free Happy Birthday button from Guest Services. You will be stopped by countless Cast Members throughout the day who will wish both you and your daughter Happy Birthday!
You can bring some decorations from home to decorate your room while she is sleeping or you can have the dream makers at Disney florist do it for you. You can visit their website at for ideas and prices.
