Visiting Feb 2013 with DH and DD-10. Love POR but undecided between reg room & new princess rooms. Is new room (& +price) worth it? Also, if book room now & spec. pricing becomes available, can I modify res to get lower price? Thanks-you are al

    Hi, Judy!

The new Royal Guest rooms do look lovely!  What a way to sleep like royalty in these new rooms.  It is up to you if you choose to upgrade for the Royal Guest room.   If your daughter is really into the princess theme, it might be worth it just for her reaction to the special decor.  When I was looking to book a room, it was approximately $40 per night more. Because we spend so little time in our room, we decided against it, but if you feel you will get to enjoy the luxury, go for it!  If you opt for the standard rooms, you will still really a cozy, clean room at the beautiful Port Orleans Riverside Resort.

If you book now and find a Special Offer, have your reservation number handy and call (407)W-DISNEY to speak to a reservationist who can see what is available and how they can modify your existing reservation.  They are happy to assist you to get you the best deal possible.

Good luck choosing the perfect resort room and thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
