Welcome to planDisney, Jamie!
You’re going to have a holly, jolly time at The Most Magical Place on Earth this November! Visiting during the holiday season is pure joy! Don’t forget to take a ton of pictures (or consider utilizing
Memory Maker to get the most out of your magical moments)!
I’m happy to hear that you’re considering some downtime at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel’s pool AND a visit to Disney Springs! You’re already a vacation-pro! (Be sure to visit the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll - I think your party will love it!) You’ll want to check the
Holiday Events page on the Walt Disney World Resort website to see if there are any activities that spark your interest! (I always love visiting
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays with my entire party!)
For you, your 18-month-old, and your mother, I would highly recommend making a breakfast reservation at either
Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort or
Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort. These character dining experiences are always magical, and the food is lovely at both locations. And, while you’re visiting these grand resorts, you can linger and marvel at the magnificent decor (sometimes featuring grand gingerbread displays), seasonal music and cheer, and warm atmosphere!
There’s always lots to do at the theme parks too, Jamie! I always like to recommend the
Affection Section at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park as this is the only petting zoo on Disney World property, and is always a great, family-friendly location off the beaten path!
If you have additional questions, or would like more tips, we’d really enjoy hearing from you again at planDisney, Jamie!
See ya real soon! Allyn
