Visiting with our family next year and our youngest still naps so will likely rest in the early afternoons with Mom while my son and I stay in the parks. Any Father-Son recommendations? Experiences, eats, rides - open to any suggestions!

Thanks for swinging by planDisney with your questions. Greg, I am excited to let you know some of the memorable things I have done with my son when we split from Mom and my two girls during our last visit.

Walt Disney World is a big place and while I have visited for a long time I always find new ways to enjoy the parks. That mid-day break with the little one will have you jealous of Mom and that extra pep in her step, but I think we will have some worthwhile activities for you and your son. EPCOT was really exciting for my son. He is a little collector so when I told him about Kidcot Fun Stops he wanted to visit all the countries to make sure he had the collection of all 11 stops. Each country will have an area where you can collect the activity cards. It comes with a Ziploc passport carrier. Walking around World Showcase if you are on a mission shouldn’t take you more than an hour with a motivated little guy. Magic Kingdom Park is where the ultimate Father-Son activity can take place. Get ready for growing chest hair while you have your first brew with your little guy! LeFou’s Brew of course! This is frozen apple juice but it sure looks like the real deal, and photos right? Find this treat and a shareable Warm Cinnamon Roll at Gaston's Tavern. Great air conditioning inside this location too if you find it a bit hot under that afternoon Florida sunshine. Disney's Hollywood Studios houses two of my favorite movie franchises and one that involves everyone’s favorite archaeologist is one I will always recommend to see. Indiana Jones™ Epic Stunt Spectacular! is in my top 3 shows on property. If you love Indy you will love seeing the stunt performer give you insight into how the magic is made right before your eyes. This is something you may want to do while the little one is down for the count as it’s very loud and things get a little intense. Let’s just say, Dr. Jones is just as explosive as he is on the silver screen.

Your trip is going to be amazing and that one on one time will be something you and your son will cherish for years to come. If you have any other planning needs drop us a line anytime at planDisney.com and we will be happy to assist.

    Have a magical day,

    Jeremy A.
