Hi Gaby!
I'm excited to hear that you are planning on bringing your little Mouseketeers to Walt Disney World Resort! One of my favorite things about exploring the theme parks with little ones is getting to experience the Disney magic with them. Be sure to consider purchasing
Memory Maker for your vacation because it's the best way to capture and save all of the magical memories you make together!
As Walt Disney World Resort continues through its phased reopening, the face covering requirements have changed to be consistent with current health and safety protocols. Currently, face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated Guests in both outdoor and indoor locations. However, face coverings are required for Guests ages 2 and above who are not fully vaccinated when they visit all indoor locations, including indoor attractions and theaters. Face coverings are also required for all Guests ages 2 and above on Disney buses and monorails, regardless of vaccination status. You can check out the
Walt Disney World Resort Face Covering Policy for additional information.
I've made several trips to Walt Disney World Resort with my boys where we wore face coverings at indoor locations and I recommend that you bring plenty of extra face coverings with you so you have extras if your little ones need them. Also, since face coverings are not required when Guests are in outdoor locations, you and your little ones will have a variety of opportunities to take a break from your face coverings, if you feel comfortable.
I recommend that you keep an eye on the
Walt Disney World Resort Face Covering Policy and the
Disney Parks Blog as your trip approaches so you can stay informed of any policy updates made before your visit and get info about new and returning experiences you can enjoy during your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
