    Bill from IL Asked

We are visiting family in California on June 1-4. All of our family over 16 is fully vaccinated. Do you expect that out-of-state vaccinated guests will be able to get reservations for those dates?

Hey there, hi there Bill! You're always welcome as can be at planDisney; thanks for sending your question our way.

It sounds like you'll be kicking off Olaf's favorite season with a west coast adventure. How exciting! Like you, I reside outside of the Golden State and would love to celebrate my vaccination status with a Disneyland Resort vacation, but we still don't know when this will be possible.  At this time, and until further notice, only California residents can make reservations to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

While we don't know exactly when it will be our turn to return to a land of magic, my advice is to follow the Disney Parks Blog and Experience Updates page and watch for any changes to current health and safety protocols. These are the best official sources of news related to Disneyland Resort theme park operations as we move through the reopening phases. If you need a bit of Disney fun and aren't able to enter the theme parks during your stay, consider visiting the Downtown Disney District or booking a night at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Both locations are open to all Guests at this time.

I wish I could offer more exact information, Bill. Best wishes for a wonderful visit with your California family, and if there is anything else we can do to make future Disney vacations even more magical, stop by anytime. Thanks again for sending your question our way, and hopefully we'll see ya real soon!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
