We will be visiting with 3 families: 2 Grandparents, 2parents and one child, 2 parents and 2 children. Grandparents are paying for the trip. How will Tips be handled at Table Service Restaurants.

Hi Joan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

What a magical treat you all are getting from the Grandparents! It sure sounds like you all are going to have a really wonderful time.

Whenever we travel to the Walt Disney World Resort we usually are also traveling with extended family. We are a family of 5 and my wonderful in laws usually come along for the fun, so we run into having to consider how gratuities will work for our group. What I have found is that while dining any Table Service Restaurant, if you have a party of 6 people or more your party will automatically be charged an 18% gratuity even if you are paying with separate checks or using the Disney Dining Plan.

I hope that I have helped to answer your question. Have a magical vacation and plan on making memories that will last a lifetime!
