Visiting in Fall 2010 with 2 toddlers (3&4) - any recommendation on where to stay? Top priorities are ease of transportation to the magic kingdom and activities for toddlers at the resort. We are grandparents bringing the young ones. Thanks.

    Wow Stephanie!

You get my vote for Grandma of the year!  With children your grandkids' ages, I agree that you'll be spending a significant amount of time at Magic Kingdom.  The resorts that offer the easiest access to Magic Kingdom are those on the monorail line:  The Contemporary, Grand Floridian and Polynesian.  You won't need to fold your stroller(s) to board and exit the monorail, so the kids can stay seated throughout the entire journey.  If I had to pick the most convenient, I'd vote for the Contemporary, because you can walk to the park via a lovely walkway that takes about 5-7 minutes at a leisurely pace.  All three properties are deluxe resorts that have beautiful lobbies, fantastic pools and wonderful amenities.  In addition, all have great dining options that should keep your entire family happy and well-fed without having to travel much!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip.  I wish you all a magical vacation!
