We are visiting Epcot in September and plan to dine at Disney Boardwalk after Illuminations, we will be parked at the main Epcot car park, how will we travel from Disney Boardwalk to the main Epcot car park late at night ?

Hello Geraldine and thank you for bringing such an important question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It certainly sounds like you've already planned for a magical day at Epcot and then onto an evening dining in the delightful surroundings of Disney's BoardWalk area; this pretty spot is very enjoyable to visit at night with all the twinkling lights across the water and the gentle, relaxed feeling atmosphere.
Although the Walt Disney World Bus Service runs for up to 1 hour after Disney Theme Park closing for ease and quickness of transport back to Epcot's main parking lot I would recommend hiring a private taxi cab.  Cast Members at Bell Services in Disney's BoardWalk Inn will only be to happy in assisting you in engaging a reputable taxi company.
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your September trip to Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
