    Visiting Epcot in September with a group of 11 and would like to make a reservation at LaHacienda for just drinks and dessert at around 8:30 so we can watch Illuminations. Is this frowned upon as we will not be ordering full meals?

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I've eaten in dozens of the Walt Disney World restaurants and have never had an issue with ordering just an appetizer or drinks and dessert. The only time you'll normally be obligated to pay a full dinner price, no matter how much you eat, is at the all-you-care-to-eat buffets or dinner shows. You should know that, with a large party, an 18 percent gratuity will be added automatically.

    The view of IllumiNations from most of La Hacienda de San Angel is pretty amazing. If, by chance, you can't get in there, I'd suggest trying Spice Road Table or Rose and Crown as alternatives.
