We are visiting Epcot Oct 16 and our granddaughter will be 3 on Oct 3. Do you use the birth month or exact date for admission? Will she need a ticket to enter a park, or still be considered “under 3 “ until Nov 1st?

Hey there, Sandra, and welcome to planDisney!

Your granddaughter's special day is fast approaching. What a gift it is to be celebrating at the Walt Disney World Resort. I'm glad to be able to help while you plan for such an important occasion.

The tiniest among us who are under 3 years old are special Guests of Mickey Mouse and can come and go freely with their ticketed adults. Since your grandbaby will be turning three before your visit, she's officially a Disney kid and will need a ticket when you visit EPCOT on October 16th. Even if she was turning three the day of or the day before, she would now need a theme park ticket.

Sandra, have a lovely time celebrating your little princess. Be sure to stop at Guest Relations and grab her a birthday pin. If you have any other questions, please come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
