We are visiting Epcot the first week of February. I was wondering if we will be able to see our family pictures with Leave Legacy Thank you Donna

    Hi Donna,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel as you make your final plans for your Walt Disney World vacation. It's just around the corner!

As you may have heard, Epcot is in the midst of a huge expansion and re-imagining. New rides and attractions are coming soon, including Guardians of the Galaxy in Future World and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in France. One of the most visible projects right now is the renovation of the entry pavilion, where for 20 years the Leave A Legacy monoliths featured photos of a half-million families, including yours and mine.

The Leave A Legacy monuments have been removed for the time being. According to the Disney Parks Blog, they will return to a position outside the entry gate. I haven't seen a date for that return yet and didn't see them when I was last at Epcot about a month ago. I look forward to seeing the new configuration in the future.

I hope you still plan a visit to Epcot during your vacation, Donna, so that you can experience the fourth annual Epcot International Festival of the Arts, a celebration of the culinary arts, visual arts and performing arts. I can't wait to head there myself in February.

Please let us know if you have any other questions before your arrival. Enjoy!
