We are visiting the end of June with my husband who is attending a work conference. Is there such a thing as a twilight ticket so he can join us in the parks whe. He is done for the day?

    Hey there, Bridgett!

Thanks for bringing your great question our way; I love that you’re accompanying your husband to the Walt Disney World Resort and seeking ways to make the most of this time together! I’ve attended a few professional events on site and am familiar with the ticketing options, so let’s talk through it together and see what’s possible.

The Walt Disney World Resort is not just a special place for a family vacation, but it is also home to stunning conference center spaces within select Disney Resorts Collection Hotels. Combining these gorgeous locations with impeccable service, delicious food, and updated technology makes for a wonderful setting to optimize connections and maximize learning for adults in many industries. Whether the event is held by The Walt Disney Company or an outside company partnering with Disney to host the event, theme park tickets are often offered as part of the whole experience for attendees to enjoy everything in this unique setting. This category of ticket is called a “Convention Ticket” if you find it documented in the event communications or materials. They may require an additional fee or they are sometimes included with the event, but typically offer different entry times than a traditional theme park ticket to align with the conference schedule. I’ve experienced 1:00 P.M. entry, 4:00 P.M. entry, and the “twilight entry” ticket you are asking about.

Unfortunately, these unique ticket types are a benefit in partnership with the conference and not available for public purchase. Your husband should inquire with the event host as to whether he has these tickets as part of the experience or the opportunity to purchase them separately. Due to the shortened entry time and special relationship of the conference or partner company with the Walt Disney World Resort, these tickets are often priced lower than a traditional full theme park ticket available on the website. I encourage you to contact the event coordinators for full details of any discounted, reduced time convention tickets for both your husband and your family joining on this trip.

Once you have everyone’s theme park tickets, be sure to link these tickets to your My Disney Experience account and make those critical theme park reservations for each day you plan to visit. When connected to your account, the convention tickets will work seamlessly with your MagicBand, MagicBand+, or MagicMobile Pass for fun-filled days in the parks together!

There’s so much to look forward to this summer for your late June visit. We’re celebrating #AlltheDisneyThrills, Disney100, and the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival will be in full bloom!

Please let us know how we can help you make the most of this visit, Bridgett. We love to share our experience and favorite tips to help you have the best time ever!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy
