    Visiting end of July and wondering if there are generally long lines at the Disney's Design a tee store? Can the shirt usually be picked up that day? My 6 yr. old wants to make a shirt there for his birthday. Read the panel every day! Thanks!

    Hi, Kimberly!    Thanks for reading questions and answers here at the Moms Panel every day!   We certainly enjoy helping guests plan their magical vacations!

    My kids each just made a personalized T-shirt at Design A Tee and they had so much fun!    When we arrived in the store, each of the kiosks had one or two people waiting, but within minutes we were creating one of a kind T-shirt masterpieces!    We ordered our shirts at about 6:00 p.m. and they were ready at 7:30 p.m.    You might have to wait longer depending on how busy they are, but generally you get your shirt pretty quickly!   They will give you a pick-up time upon ordering.

    The shirts are very nice quality.   I have washed ours probably 3 times now, and the colors have stayed bright and they did not shrink.   I wash them inside-out in cold water, and damp dry them.    I hope your son has fun creating a shirt of his very own.
